If Google AdSense is not configured for this deployment, the site does not request an advertising script and does not set an advertising cookie of its own.
When AdSense is configured, Google and other advertising partners may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons, to collect information as a result of ad serving. That information can include your IP address, the page URL, a truncated page URL, and the date and time of the visit. The image file is not part of that request. Ads are labeled Advertisement and sit apart from the tool buttons.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland need a choice before personalized advertising cookies are stored. This deployment does not show that choice. The advertising script stays out unless a publisher id and an ad-unit id are configured. When they are configured, the script loads for every visitor. A regional consent choice is not enforced.
The host that serves the website can record ordinary server logs, such as the IP address, browser type, and the URL requested, so the site can stay available and can be protected from abuse. Those logs are not a copy of your picture.
Your own browser may keep history and temporary files under your control.
